Many Men feel unheard: Most men in frustrating marriages don't have outlets where they feel heard or advocated for in counseling (even in church)
Divine intervention: Even couples that don't "practice" the Christian faith understand know that they might need some "divine intervention"
An atmosphere for change: Many couples have had some form of counseling but need a collective atmospheric anointing that reaches deeper than conversations.
Head knowledge vs Frameworks: Many couples have the "head" knowledge of what to do, but don't have the frameworks to apply that knowledge by faith
So...what needs to happen?
Through the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, the marriage has to take on a new identity...a new nature. That will look different for every couple, but the core Biblical & relationship principles remain the same.

Absolutely. Therapy/Counseling is great. This is a very different experience. Having other couples there in itself starts to deal with the isolation that often weighs couples down. The environment of collective worship and prayer is another element that further breaks the chains that often keep marriages down. Finally, the content is deeply anchored in scripture.

That is understandable. Maybe they don't think it's needed. Maybe they have not had great experiences in therapy/counseling before. The key is to communicate a few things. (1) Being in a collective environment with other couples wanting to make their marriages better is often less intimidating than sitting in therapy. (2) The spouse that is hesitant is often the one that feels they are not "heard" in traditional therapy sessions. This type of environment actually works really well because in sessions like this, both spouses will likely hear from the stage, what the other has been trying to say.

Sorry that things have gotten that way. But NO. It is not too late. God can restore your marriage no matter how far gone you think it is. This singular event might be one part of a multifaceted approach to getting you better, but it will be an important one. You are not alone and there is still a chance.
